Hi Y’all!
My name is Kati; I am a follower of Jesus, a wife, and a lifelong learner. I share topics pertaining to the human body and how God has intricately designed it to work. I blog about Hormones, pro-metabolic eating, Organ function, Women’s health, and more. My goal is to take the content that I have learned while in school to receive my RN-BSN and what I have learned since and share it with you to enrich your understanding and knowledge. Come along with me as I post new fascinating topics weekly; I hope you enjoy!
Calling All Dreamers
Honestly, I am a dreamer. Are there any fellow dreamers out there? Anyone who feels heart palpitations as they think about what their life could look like? Maybe you are nerdy and love to learn. Then whatever you have learned, you want to tell all your friends and family ASAP? Well, that’s me. Whenever I get to share new knowledge with others, I feel as if I’m flying. I know I seem bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, but what a blessing it is to learn. Even more so, to share that blessing with others!
Nonetheless, One of my dreams is to be a mom. I am currently working as an RN, but I am looking forward to the future. If the Lord blesses my husband and me with children, I desire to be home with them. I can’t imagine how fulfilling it will be to be a mom. To have the opportunity to teach and encourage my own children sounds so lovely.
I enjoy being a nurse; caring for people is healing not only for the patient but also for the health care provider. When you work in healthcare, the good times are so great, but when it is bad, it is awful. Sadly, the good times are few and far between. In today’s society, the system is so focused on profit that it has forgotten it is supposed to benefit people who have a life, emotions, and loved ones.
Bringing Good News
My experience in the hospital and home has solidified my view, giving me reason to feel that I cannot wholly bring good to every circumstance because it is out of my control. But knowledge is empowerment, and this is a way I can bring good news to the forefront. God created our bodies in such a fantastic way; the more I learn about our body and its functions, the more I am in awe of its creator. To know how we are to nourish and love the bodies God has crafted us brings wisdom. With free learning resources, others might see how our body is designed to work, how to stir your health in the right direction, and how great our creator is!
Lord, I thank you for those who are reading this blog today. May they know you, Lord, and if they don’t already, may they trust in you. You are a great, loving father. Please let them feel your peace and your presence on this day. To you alone, the glory, God, Amen.
“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” (Psalm 139:13-14, ESV).
